So that’s explains why my Kernel is panicking..

I googled the error message to see what I could find. One forum suggested bad memory, quite a few had little idea of what causes the problem, but some researched the idea that their hard drives were failing. If found this forum to be very enlightening:-

Not unexpected, these two drives have given me trouble in the past. It just looks like I’ll have to save some hard-earned and fork out for new platters!
